Chewy Chocolate Brownies

Indulge yourself with these delicious chewy chocolate treats.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup International Collection Hazelnut Oil
  • 2oz unsweetened chocolate baking squares
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 ¼ cup sugar
  • 8oz flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup pecans

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Grease an 8-inch square pan with additional International Collection Hazelnut Oil.
  3. Melt chocolate with International Collection Hazelnut Oil over a low heat stirring often to prevent scorching.
  4. When melted, set aside to cool.
  5. Beat eggs, vanilla and sugar together until well blended.
  6. Add chocolate mixture.
  7. Add flour and salt; mix well, and then stir in nuts.
  8. Spread batter evenly in pan.
  9. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes.
  10. Remove from oven and cool in pan for 5 minutes.
  11. Then turn on a rack and cut when cool.
