Almond Cake
Ingredients
- 2 tsp International Collection Sweet Almond Oil
- 5oz Ground almonds
- 9oz Butter
- 10oz Golden caster sugar
- 4 Large eggs
- 10oz Self-raising flour
- 3oz Flaked almonds
Method

Preheat oven to 350ºF

Put the Almond Oil, sugar and butter in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy.

Slowly add the eggs and a little of the flour.

Mix the remaining flour and ground almonds.

Spoon the mixture into a buttered baking tin and smooth the surface.

Sprinkle with flaked almonds

Bake in the centre of the oven for 1 hour 15 minutes.

Serve drizzled with International Collection Sweet Almond Oil.
