Green salad with Walnuts and Stilton
Ingredients
- Mixed salad leaves
- 3 oz Stilton, cubed
- 2 oz walnut halves, toasted
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
Dressing
- 3 tbsp International Collection Walnut oil
- Generous ½ tbsp International Collection Sherry Wine Vinegar
- ¼ tsp Dijon mustard
- salt and pepper
- pinch of sugar
Method

Make the dressing in the salad bowl, whisking together the vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper, then gradually whisking in the oil, a table-spoonful at a time.

Taste and adjust the balance and seasonings.

Arrange the salad leaves in a serving bowl and sprinkle over the Stilton, walnut halves and chives.

Mix and serve at the table.
